Looking for something to do this weekend in NH? Take a trip up to the Lakes Region and Lake Winnipesaukee! Just took a trip up and it is absolutely beautiful with the recent snowfall. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area (including the Tilton Outlets in Tilton, NH). I took this picture below this afternoon, the ice still is not completely frozen, weird winter in New England!

Rockingham NH (including Derry, Londonderry, Candia, Windham, Auburn and Chester) Residential home listings were up 15% from December 2010 with 227 homes placed on the market last month. The median sale price of all homes in the county was down over 11.5% compared to last December, but prices were slightly higher (.5 %) than November 2011. The averaqe days on the market for a home in the county is up to 117 days, which is slightly better than a year ago. For specific information on other counties in NH, please contact me! As you can see, with the availability of homes, the decline in prices, and the historic low interest rates, it’s certainly one of the best times ever to buy! For sellers, don’t let general national reports scare you…if you have the right home at the right price, it’s still a great time to sell, and there are plenty of benefits. Let me know if you have any questions on your specific property!

Just like in Rockingham County, the numbers continue to show it’s a great time to be a home buyer!
In Hillsborough County (including Merrimack, Nashua, Bedford, Hudson, Litchfield, Pelham and more) home listings were up 17% over December 2010. With the bigger inventory, prices are down 10.3% over last December, with the media sale price at $174,900.00. The good news is while we are still down over a year ago, the monthly trends indicate that prices are slowly stabilizing if not starting to slightly rise, while the market continues to be very very active with buyers and sellers.
